Miranda brings 25 years of experience to her position of Banking Center Manager at our Tampa Banking Center. Starting in the banking field out of high school, she has worked her way up through the ranks at various financial institutions in Tampa, before landing at Cogent over 4 years ago.
Miranda believes that her hard work and experience climbing her way into financial institution management roles has helped make her a great leader, and also gives her unique insights into the needs of her clients. In addition to her position at Cogent, Miranda belongs to the South Tampa Chamber of Commerce.
What Miranda loves most about her job is helping and meeting new people and being a good resource to help them achieve their financial goals. She feels genuinely rewarded when clients continue to refer business to her. A resident of Tampa for 27 years, Miranda is married to Rich Peters, a Tampa-area realtor. She is the proud parent of two children: Luis, a budding artist and student at HCC, and Olivia, a student at UCF. Miranda is also a member of the Krewe of Mustang Sallies and Ryders.
