Holding 33 years of lending experience—with nearly 5 at Cogent—Ed is highly-qualified to meet your Commercial & Industrial and commercial real estate lending needs. Located in our Tampa Banking Center, Ed is a graduate of Washington & Lee University (Economics) and Stonier Graduate School of Banking. In addition to his work at Cogent, Ed serves as Chairman of the Sunshine Economic Development Corporation (SEDCO), providing SBA 504 loans and direct Community Advantage Loans.
What Ed finds most gratifying about his work at Cogent Bank is helping small- and medium- sized businesses continue to expand and be successful—something that benefits everyone in our community. When seeking financing, before applying for a loan Ed advises companies to first “contact a Cogent Bank Relationship Manager for an initial meeting to discuss the loan request and receive guidance on the information that will need to be provided to move forward with the approval process.”
Ed has lived in Tampa for 33 years. Married for 30 years, he has twin 17-year-old sons. In his leisure time, Ed is an avid fisherman and hunter.
As an experienced lender, Ed is happy to discuss your business’s financing needs.
